CREATIVE PROFESSIONALS and business owners NEED HELP PROTECTing THEIR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.
Writers, authors, actors, artists, publishing houses, production companies, entertainment executives, and business owners have all been clients of mine. I’m trusted by NYTimes Bestselling authors and multinational corporations alike because I’m not just an attorney.
I’ve worked as an actor and performer with experience that includes commercials, film, and New York and regional theater. I’ve co-produced low budget films, off-Broadway shows, and I’m still a member of the acting unions, SAG-AFTRA and AEA. I’m also a member of ASCAP who’s published my own music and worked with award-winning record producers. I’ve traveled across the country on tours with bestselling authors. Having been on both sides of the table makes me uniquely qualified to understand not just how deals are written, but also how they actually play out for the parties involved. I also host the podcast Is That Really Legal with Eric Ruben that you can access by clicking here.
i supply management SUPPORT and practical advice.
Most of my clients are individuals navigating real opportunities - option agreements, talent deals, production contracts - often without a large team behind them. I offer straightforward, useful guidance and flexible fee structures, including flat fees where appropriate.
flat fees provide transparency and predictability.
Clarity at the outset allows my clients to know how much they will pay for my services. By focusing on outcomes rather than hours, I prioritize strategic thinking, innovation, and effective problem-solving. This creates higher quality of service and better results for my clients.
my firm’s mission:
I support and empower creative professionals and business owners with expert legal counsel and strategic guidance. I am committed to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction, while supporting creative and commercial objectives.
